No prior knowledge is needed to operate the laser particle sizer. Users can simply begin the program, choose a SOP and add the sample, the rest of the process takes place automatically. This makes the laser particle sizer fast, efficient, and reliable.

New Optical Design

The ANALYSETTE 22 NanoTec has a wide measuring range from 0.01 to 2100 µm due to the combination of two lasers with two varied measuring cell detector spacings.

Large particles can be easily identified through an infrared laser with a large distance to the measuring cell, and small particles can be detected by using a green laser with a small distance to the measuring cell, which allows detection of the forward scattered light up to a scattering angle of 65°.

Particles down to the nano range can be measured using the green laser light for backward scattering. This is ensured through uniquely arranged detectors. Most importantly, the overall measuring range of 0.01 to 2100 µm in the ANALYSETTE 22 NanoTec can be detected without actually changing the optical elements. This leads to perfect measurements with high reliability, consistent reproducibility, and meaningful comparability.

Intelligent Modular Design

The ANALYSETTE 22 NanoTec includes a compact measuring unit, which can be easily and rapidly integrated with different types of dispersion units for both wet and dry measurements. Wet dispersion unit can be selected for wet measurements of suspensions and solids.

For wet dispersion of small quantities, the manual small volume wet dispersion unit SVM and the automatic small volume wet dispersion unit SVA with illuminated dispersion bath are available. With the help of the practical and fully automatic AutoSampler, a set of measurements can be carried out using the wet dispersion unit.

For dry measurements of free-flowing and not too fine materials, the dry dispersion unit with efficient degradation of agglomerates can be used. For dry measurement of free-flowing materials or agglomerates, the falling chute can be used. This range of options allows users to buy what they need for their specific application needs.

Practical Fast-Switch-System

The ANALYSETTE 22 dispersion modules feature measuring cells that are situated in practical cartridges, which can be easily replaced with a single motion while switching between dry and wet measurement, without any need to alter the instrument or change the hoses. This ensures a quick and easy change of the dispersion technique.

Simple and Flexible

The ANALYSETTE 22 NanoTec software includes comprehensive predefined standard operating procedures (SOPs) for almost all standard measurement tasks, making operation simple. With a well-organized input mask, users can easily alter the SOPs to suit their measurement needs.

Fully Automatic Evaluation

The ANALYSETTE 22 NanoTec is supplied with a computer with the FRITSCH MaS control software fully installed. This is provisioned to provide control, recording, and assessment of the measuring results.

The MaS control software can be easily taught, and guides users via the whole measurement process in a self-explanatory manner. In addition to the combined standard reports, the freely editable report generator enables users to organize their reports according to their specific requirements, making the entire process simple, flexible, and secure.
