Talos TEM for Materials Science
The Talos TEM enables the characterization of materials to be performed in a precise, rapid, and quantitative manner in multiple dimensions, including innovative software features intended to enhance imaging and to increase ease of use. The Talos TEM combines remarkable high-resolution S/TEM and TEM imaging with industry-leading EDS performance, which includes distinctive EDS tomography, to provide structural information as 2D images as well as 3D volumes. The advanced new software increases the range of materials that can be studied, while the new Ceta 16M camera rapidly zooms from large field of view to atomic scale. The new piezo stage ensures drift-free imaging and exact navigation. Since it has more space, application-specific in situ sample holders can be accommodated in the Talos TEM for performing dynamic experiments.
