The new DT85 Universal Input Data Logger Series 4 is the intelligent universal input data logger. The strong, standalone, low power data logger boasts USB memory stick support, 18-bit resolution, wide-ranging communications abilities and built-in display, and numerous other features making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The DT85 has improved sampling speed, measurement scope and programmable analog output, while its Dual Channel concept permits up to 32 isolated or 48 common referenced analog inputs to be employed in several configurations. An entirely self-contained resolution, the DT 85 has support for multiple SDI-12 sensor networks, Modbus for SCADA systems, FTP and Web interface, and 12 V regulated output to power sensors.
Numerable sensors can be linked along the adaptable analog and digital channels, high-speed counter inputs, phase encoder inputs and programmable serial sensor channels. Temperature, voltage, current, 4-20 mA loops, resistance, bridges, strain gauges, frequency, digital, serial and calculated measurements can all be calibrated, recorded and restored in engineering units or in statistical commentary.
Sampling, logging, alarm and control tasks can be tailored while interfaces for smart sensors, GPS, and other intelligent devices increase the adaptability of the DT85.
The standard unit can store up to 10 million data points, and can be expanded as required, meaning you can log as much or as little as you need. Further options include overwrite or stop logging once assigned memory is full, archive data on alarm event, copy to USB memory or transfer via FTP/ Email.
Communications characteristics include RS232, USB, and Ethernet, link to the DT85 locally, remotely via a modem or over the Internet. The web interface permits users to arrange the DT85, access recorded data and view existing measurements as mimics or in a list using a web browser. FTP/ Email sends results to your office over the internet or wireless network, without needing polling or specific host software.
