AFM Probe for Biological Sciences Applications

NuNano’s Scout 70 is available as an uncoated or gold-coated probe that can be employed for general imaging in the field of biological sciences. For cell imaging and single-molecule imaging, NuNano recommends using the Scout 70 Au (gold-coated) probe.

The Scout 70 probe comes in two models: SCOUT 70 (uncoated) and SCOUT 70 RAu (gold-coated).

The Scout 70 from NuNano is a multipurpose probe for imaging in AC modes (non-contact/soft tapping). This probe exhibits excellent dimensional tolerances and tip sharpness, which is typical of all AFM probes from NuNano. The Scout 70 RAu model includes a gold reflective backside coating that enables its use in liquid/biological research.
