The Sixth Element’s SE2430W-N is a halogen-free product, rich in oxygen-containing functional groups, such as carboxyl groups, hydroxyl groups and epoxy groups. It combines graphite and a modified Hummers method leading to a water-based graphitic paste. The graphitic paste is easily dispersed into single-layer graphene oxide suspensions.

Depending on the particle size needed for the specific application, the lateral size of the primary particle can be adjusted. This is achieved by ultrasonic equipment.

Applications
SE2430W-N is used to form thin GO films. The films are adjustable in thickness and used as a precursor for synthesizing graphene thermal conductive films or other functional membrane materials.

SE2430W-N in lower concentrations enhances the mechanical properties of concrete. The barrier properties of SE2430W-N also reduce chlorine diffusion into concrete structures.
