Select Biosciences, which organizes European Lab Automation (ELA) 2012, has announced that a new conference track titled ‘Nano & Microfluidics’ will be one among the eight topical conference tracks at the ELA 2012.
The ELA conference will be conducted from May 30 to 31, 2012 at the Congress Center Hamburg in Germany. It will feature an exhibition displaying the most recent automated instruments and workflows. Other tracks of the conference include Drug Discovery Automation - Chemistry Automation & Compound Management; Biobanking: Preparation, Storage & Analysis; Next-Gen Sequencing Automation; Separation and Detection; Liquid Handling and Robotics; Drug Discovery Automation - HCS & Cell Based Assays; and Informatics for Automation. Registered delegates can participate in all tracks of the conference.
The conference stream, ‘Nano & Microfluidics’ will discuss the key technologies and issues pertaining to rapidly growing nano and microfluidics arena. The applications of nano and microfluidics have been ever-increasing over the past few years. This track will provide a snapshot of the nano and microfluidics field, and include discussions on the developments in microfabrication and use of nano and microfluidics.
The Curie Institute’s Jean-Louis Viovy, the University of California’s Abraham Lee, and ETH Zurich’s Andrew deMello will be the keynote speakers, who will address the latest advances in the nano and micorfluidics field.
