Anticorrosion Protective Systems has been selected as an exclusive Malaysian distributor for Industrial Nanotech’s patented Nansulate product portfolio of thermal insulation and protective coatings.
Anticorrosion Protective Systems has more than 30 years of experience in controlling and managing corrosion in adverse processing and production environments in the world. It offers products and services to industries such as oil and gas, water and utilities. A trial project with Petronas, Malaysia’s national oil and gas company, is one of the company’s first undertakings.
Industrial Nanotech’s Vice President of Business Development, Francesca Crolley stated that the signing of Anticorrosion Protective Systems as the company’s exclusive Malaysian distributor will reinforce Nansulate’s reach in several production sectors, especially oil and gas. Anticorrosion Protective Systems has received an offshore trial from Petronas for Nansulate translucent PT coating to mange corrosion under insulation by offering the benefits of both corrosion prevention and thermal insulation. Galp Energia has utilized the same product for two major ongoing projects over fuel oil storage tanks and an oil pipeline at its Portugal refinery, generating total sales of $471,279.49 in the last 12 months for Industrial Nanotech.
Nansulate coatings have been continuously expanding its presence in this key industry sector and the company continuously develops new alliances with firms like EcoPetrol in Columbia and grabs the opportunity to utilize its products to protect this vital infrastructure. Anticorrosion Protective Systems’ vast experience will be helpful in introducing and promoting the company’s patented nanotechnology-based insulation and protective coatings in Malaysia. Anticorrosion Protective Systems is also licensed and certified with the local government authorities, which include Ministry of Finance, Energy Commission of Malaysia, Construction Industry Development Berhad, and National Water Service Commission, concluded Crolley.
