KOHERAS GmbH and its predecessors have been in business in laser technology since 1989 supplying Argon- and Helium-Neon lasers, Laser Diode Modules and Diode-Pumped Solid-State lasers.
In May 2004 the majority of then LG-Laser Technologies was acquired by Danish developer of high-performance fibre lasers KOHERAS A/S which is fully owned by the industrial conglomerate NKT Holding A/S and operates as a part of the NKT Photonics Group. This new owner-structure enables the company to offer future-proof narrow-linewidth and super-continuum fibre lasers in German-speaking countries. In June 2006 the company name was changed to KOHERAS GmbH (for more information, please see press release).
KOHERAS GmbH is proud of its long-standing customer relationships in the printing, test & measurement and bio-medical industry, as well as the scientific community. In 2005, the company entered the materials processing market with CO2-based laser systems for cutting, engraving and marking.
