Itinerary of the Nanotech 2019
Nanotech 2019 will cover a wide array of topics related to biotechnology and medicine. The conference will be opened by Dr. Sabu Thomas from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, highlighting the relevance of nanotechnology in the field of medicine. As it has already been identified that nanotechnological solutions in medicine are an emerging topic of interest, Dr. Thomas calls on field experts, medical professionals and technology developers to participate in the program to bring forth more up-to-date integrative solutions in the field of medicine and medical research.
The Nanotech 2019 is sub-divided into six sessions: nanoscience, nanomaterials characterization, nanomedicine, nanotechnology in water treatment, nanotechnology in pharmaceutics and nanobiotechnology. An overview of each session is presented below.
Nanoscience
Nanoparticles can be applied in various fields, including biology, engineering, chemistry and materials science. Nanoparticle research promises new and innovative prospects in many areas because of the relatively small size of nanoparticles, enabling its utility in solving and addressing various problems or issues that could not be resolved with larger particle applications. In Nanotech 2019, technological advances in nanoscience shall be presented and framed especially in their applications in the field of medicine and related disciplines.
Nanomaterials Synthesis and Characterization
Facilitating operational practices through nanomaterials would usually require the association of nanoparticles with thin films, with some utilizing high-temperature interactions and some using liquid interface reactions. The session on nanomaterials synthesis and characterization provides new insights and practices in the field, including studies on the plasma sintering process, planning of nanocomposite powders and applicability of various metal and metal oxide particles as application solutions.
Nanomedicine
The field of nanomedicine encompasses a wide range of medical applications, including cell reparation, drug delivery and medical imaging. Given these varied applications, contemporary researchers have postulated the utility of nanotechnology in furthering the capability of pre-existing medical solutions and devices. The session features current trends and challenges in addressing nanomedical solutions, including researches on cell damage and reparation, genetic screening and technologies, nanorobots for rendering artificial antibodies and cellular behavior alteration. The session also provides insights on how these robotic technologies could generate better prognosis, positive health outcomes and improved medical observation.
Water Treatment and Nanotechnology
Nanotechnology researchers have also provided significant focus on the use of nanoscience in generating water treatment solutions that could improve water-related problems on a global scale. For instance, researchers on nanotechnology in water treatment are focusing on the development of novel solutions and applications that would ensure a sufficient supply of potable water. In this session, researchers from the area will present emerging issues and development mechanisms by which nanotechnology could be utilized in macro-level applications in water treatment.

Nanotechnology in Pharmaceuticals
Pharmacy and nanotechnology both deal with particles and elements at the molecular level; as such, researchers have made it a goal to determine the capacity of nanoscience to develop, adapt, and formulate pharmaceutical solutions targeted at the nanoparticle level. While the use of nanotechnology in pharmaceutics is still an understudied area, the Nanotech 2019 session aims to present relevant researches and applications of nanotechnology in various fields of life sciences. The session will highlight how these applications could also be applied to medication and innovative pharmaceutical solutions. The use of carbon nanotubes (CNT) shall also be presented as an essential research area throughout the session.
Nanobiotechnology
The session on nanobiotechnology attempts to integrate current researches and practices in the field of nanotechnology and biological sciences. The assembly will incorporate the relevance of nanoscience in joint quality treatment, cell treatment, antisense therapeutics and vaccinations. The session will also highlight the salience of nanobiotechnology in improving the formulations and processes involved in drug production. Security issues and future directions of nanotechnology will also be discussed.
