TSU Changes Nanotech Center Name To the Nanomaterials Application Center - News Item

In order to cover more complex nanotechnology, the Texas State University-San Marcos Nanoparticles Applications Center has had a name change to the Nanomaterials Applications Center.

The center is located within the Institute for Environmental and Industrial Science at Texas State and is focussed on the commercialisation of nanotechnology products.

"The name change to Nanomaterials Applications Center more closely reflects the center's core objectives of collaboration for the purpose of job creation, while giving us room to evolve and grow," said Bill Covington, associate vice president of research. Rapid advances in nanoscale science and technology will advance collaborative research environment, including industry, entrepreneurs, technology organizations and academic institutions."
