Graphene Oxide - 4 mg/ml Water Dispersion - Low Mn

A unique synthesis method is used to produce 06-2530 – a suspension of large, single layer flakes of graphene oxide that typically have diameters between 5 to 30 microns. The flakes are produced by an oxidative method that runs to completion using a repeatable method to provide pure graphene.

The oxidation state of the graphene produced can be checked using elemental analysis for quality assurance purposes.

06-2530 has a low level of manganese contamination, with manganese levels of 0.0006%. A sensitive washing process is used to purify the graphene oxide suspension, the purity of which, especially in regards to the manganese levels, is verified using electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR).

Contamination with manganese is a frequent issue with other forms of graphene oxide that can cause issues when using graphene oxide in biological systems. The low levels of manganese and high purity of 06-2530 means it does not display cytotoxicity, so it can be used in living cells, as well as other sensitive applications.
