The JEM-2100Plus sophisticated control system provides greater performance through easy operation and enables the integration of STEM, EDS, EELS, and remote operation.
The “TEM Center” software consolidates column controls, STEM operation, and camera operation onto a single screen for convenience. The operation is intuitive and straightforward. With a single button press, the operator can simply select from a variety of illumination options.
An optional JEOL bottom-mount camera known as the “Matataki Flash” with a cutting-edge sCMOS sensor can acquire images and diffraction patterns.
The JEM-2100Plus includes a high-stability goniometer stage designed primarily for high-tilt tomographic applications. An x/y piezo stage is a viable alternative.
The JEM-2100Plus contains three separate condenser lenses that optimize probe conditions for every probe size for a range of applications, including EDX and NBD. This improves analytical and diffraction capabilities, resulting in high-quality data that are swiftly and easily obtained.
The JEOL Alpha Selector™ allows users to choose from several illumination modes, including fully convergent beam and parallel illumination, giving users greater flexibility in imaging conditions.
Lorentz microscopy comes as standard, thanks to the built-in objective mini lens. Additionally, high contrast apertures can be used with any polepiece, allowing simultaneous energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and high-contrast imaging without compromise.
The JEM-2100Plus offers several pumping choices, including full dry-pumped/turbo-pumped versions for lab settings where rotary or oil-based pumps are not permitted.
