Background
Robert L. Stamps is an Australian Research Council Professorial Fellow and Winthrop Professor at the University of Western Australia. He obtained a BS in physics from the University of Colorado in 1984, and PhD in physics from Colorado State University in 1988. He has held a Humbolt Junior Fellowship, CNRS Visiting Professor Fellowships at University Pasteur, Univesity Paris VII and XI, and Henri Poincare University. He was a IEEE Magnetics Society 2008 Distinguished Lecturer.
