New D6F-W10A1 Air Velocity Sensor Features Omron's MEMS Mass Flow Chip

Omron Electronic Components LLC announces the release of a new 10 m/s Air Velocity Sensor (D6F-W10A1).

The sensor incorporates Omron's MEMS Mass Flow Chip and patented Dust Segregation System flow path designs. It also features an amplified, temperature compensated analog output signal to simplify the integration process by minimizing additional circuitry requirements.

The D6F-W10A1 was developed for higher velocity applications including commercial and industrial ventilation systems, draft chambers, and laboratory hoods/clean bench applications where velocities are above the previous maximum of 4 m/s in this family.

The D6F-W10A1 is currently in production. The new 10 m/sec version is priced the same as the 1 m/sec and 4 m/sec models, with a List Price of $79.20 and is available through authorized distributors.
