The Artemis Project Chooses NanoH2O as a Top 50 Water Company for 2011

NanoH2O declared that it has been chosen by The Artemis Project as part of the Top 50 Water Companies for the year 2011.

This is the second time in succession that NanoH2O has been chosen to be part of the Top 50 bracket. The company is a world-wide supplier of reverse osmosis membranes that transform the basic economics of desalination. Thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) membranes use advanced nanostructured materials and promising polymer technology to enhance desalination productivity and reduce energy consumption.

According to Laura Shenkar, Principal at The Artemis Project, regarded The Artemis Project as the benchmark for recognising innovative entrepreneurs who apply technology to meet the challenges in the water industry. She added that water industry has grown into an economic growth zone that offers many job opportunities. She stated that the idea behind giving such awards was to recognise companies that create cutting edge water technologies.

Jeff Green, the CEO of NanoH2O, noted that they were the only company that was recognised by the Artemis Project two years consecutively. He claimed that the technology developed by NanoH2O greatly improved the efficiency of the reverse osmosis membrane by using polymer membrane that used nanoparticles. He was positive about the performance of their technology in the water desalination industry.
