Life Technologies, a biotechnology company, has partnered with TalkPoint, a communications technology company focusing on browser-based video and audio webcasting, to present ‘Basics of Flow Cytometry.’
The webinars powered by TalkPoint will begin with part one of the two-part series on February 21, 2012. These webinars are an element of the Molecular Probes Flow Cytometry Educational Series.
In the free webinar, Jolene Bradford, Life Technologies’ Associate Director of Flow Cytometry Systems, will share her knowledge on gating and data analysis. The topics to be covered in the webinar include the principle of the flow cytometry platform, the fundamental components of a flow cytometer, ways of understanding a dye emission or excitation spectrum, ways of displaying data, basic gating demonstration, and common terminology and statistics utilized in flow cytometry.
Interested participants can register their names for the event’s one or both parts. TalkPoint’s Chief Executive Officer, Nick Balletta commented that the company is happy to offer its webcasting technology for another event of Life Technologies.
