Overview
Double-walled Carbon Nanotubes (DWCNTs) are composed of two
concentric single-walled carbon nanotubes with unique optical and electronic
properties. DWCNTs allow for the convalent functionalization of the
outer-wall, allowing control over the solubility, while maintaining the
properties of the outer-wall.1 Applications of DWCNTs
include solar cells2 and field effect transistors.
