Background

Peter Thostrup received his PhD in Physics from the group of Prof. Besenbacher at the University of Aarhus in 2002. Following his degree, he joined the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) at Aarhus University as a scientific coordinator, assisting the Director in building up iNANO.

From 2006-2009, Dr Thostrup joined the Neuroengineering Programme at McGill University, Montreal, Canada as a postdoctoral fellow, where he did interdisciplinary research on the neurobiology of synapses. He has recently rejoined the iNANO centre as a Research Associate. Dr Thostrup is the author of 16 scientific papers.
