Industrial
Nanotech, Inc. (Pink Sheets:INTK), an emerging global leader in nanotechnology,
today announced that the Company's patented Nansulate® product line of energy
saving thermal insulation and corrosion prevention coatings will be featured
at the upcoming International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITM 2009) to be
held June 6-10, 2009 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The company’s Turkish distributor, Kolorgen Ltd, will be demonstrating
the energy saving effectiveness of Nansulate® coatings which have been in
use on processing machinery in the textile industry for more than 4 years. Kolorgen
has successfully completed applications to increase energy savings and reduce
costs at many facilities, including Henateks, Erenko, Aloha, Deba and Coats
textile, among others.
“Nansulate® has proven to be a key energy saving solution for the
textile market,” explained Francesca Crolley, V.P. of Operations and Marketing,
Industrial Nanotech, Inc. “Our coatings are used on many critical types
of process equipment including heat exchangers, steam boilers, dye machines,
dryers, LNG burners and piping of all types to reduce energy use and protect
equipment from corrosion. The energy savings are well documented, including
one customer who saved $600,000 per year by using Nansulate® to insulate
equipment (total Nansulate® product cost: $200,000) and another saving $100,000
per year in energy costs (total Nansulate® product cost: $40,000). In addition,
when used on dye machines, our insulation coating improves the consistency of
the dye lot (reproducibility). Textile is a market that has embraced our technology,
and we are looking forward to the exhibition to demonstrate our technology,
its significant benefits and solid case studies that we’ve accumulated
in this industry. Besides the obvious benefit of cost savings through reduction
of energy use, Nansulate® is a ‘green’ technology and also helps
these plants reduce their overall carbon emissions - an added plus for the environment
and green initiatives.”
The International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITM 2009) is one of the largest
textile exhibitions in the world. It will be held June 6-10, 2009 at the Tuyap
Fair, Convention and Congress Center, Buyukcekmece, Istanbul, Turkey. More than
1000 producer companies and almost 100,000 national and international investors
are expected to visit ITM 2009 that will be organized with the cooperation of
Teknik Fuarcilik, Tüyap and TEMSAD. Expected attendance will represent
1500 companies from 37 countries around the world.
Nansulate® is the Company's patented product line of award winning, specialty
coatings containing a nanotechnology based material and which are well-documented
to provide the combined performance qualities of thermal insulation, corrosion
prevention, resistance to mold growth, fire resistance, chemical resistance
and lead encapsulation in an environmentally safe, water-based, coating formulation.
The Nansulate® Product Line includes industrial, residential, agricultural
and solar thermal insulation coatings. Additional information about the Company
