Resistive 3D Extraction Software Chosen for Nanometer Design Analysis by CHiL Semiconductor

Silicon Frontline Technology, Inc. (SFT), the silicon-proven, full-chip, field-solver company, announced today that its R3D (Resistive 3D) for 3D extraction and analysis of large resistive power device designs has been selected by CHiL Semiconductor Corporation, a fabless power management solutions company. R3D reduces CHiL's products' energy consumption.

"CHiL Semiconductor has made a name for itself by striving to lead the industry in the top efficiency solutions in the computing and Datacomm markets," remarked Don Desbien, CHiL's VP of Operations and Technology. "We compete in a very cost conscious market, so extracting the absolute best performance and power efficiency from technology is very important to us. Silicon Frontline's extraction and analysis software has proven to be highly accurate, easy to use, and has become a fundamental and necessary part of our electronic products' design flow."

"We are pleased to have a leader in power efficiency select our 3D extraction software for their nanometer design analysis and to achieve their power goals," added Yuri Feinberg, Silicon Frontline CEO.
