Release of Huper Optik's Nano-Ceramic Window Coating Films into the Thai Market

According to Thailand’s automotive statistics, car sales in 2011 are expected to soar 37% this year to 800,000 vehicles, propelled by strong economic growth.

Riding on the crest of growth, Hüper Optik® International in conjunction with its newly appointed local Thai partner, Hüper Optik® Corporation Company Limited (Hüper Optik® Corp), headed by Mr. Konton Jathurapattarapanit, a veteran in the window coating film industry with more than 15 years of experience, to launch the German-made Hüper Optik® Nano-Ceramic window coating films into the Thai market.

“The window coating film industry in Thailand is highly fragmented and low-tech in nature,” said Mr Konton Jathurapattarapanit. He opined that to enhance the business competitiveness of existing window film operators and to attract quality new entrants, there is a need to make available a differentiated technology in the form of advanced nano-ceramic films for automotive application. Existing window film operators or new entrants will have accessed to the innate Hüper Optik® “PLUS” Support Programme in the form of “Business Support”, “Network Support”, “Technical Support” and “People Support” to ensure a guided path to operate the business successfully.

“Being a German-made technology, Hüper Optik® promises to “Excite, Exceed, and Excel” in customer’s expectations,” said Mr Ong Siong, Lim, Group General Manager, Hüper Optik® International. He opined that end users will enjoy unparalleled heat control, durable performance, and credibility with the advanced nano-ceramics retrofitted onto the glasses of their cars.

Hüper Optik® proprietary technology utilizes multi-layers of Ceramic, where ordinary ceramic coatings commonly available in the market only have typically one layer. The multi-layer ceramic nature of the Hüper Optik®` film also endows it the ability to be highly durable - free from demetallisation, discoloration, and interference with electronic telecommunication and navigation systems vis-à-vis other window film offerings in the market. The unique selling propositions of Hüper Optik® proprietary technology are summarized as follows:

  • 1 – first and only Patented Nano-Ceramic Window Film;
  • 3 – three times more infra-red rejection than Dyed Film;
  • 4 – four times less visible light reflection than metalized film;
  • 13 – thirteen degrees cooler compared with no film; and
  • 25 – twenty-five times more durable than conventional film.

Under the Hüper Optik® Start-up Programme for Energy Efficiency Opportunities, a Network Recruitment Seminar will be held on 27 February 2011 at Emerald Hotel, from 2 pm to 6 pm for entrepreneurs and businesses in the automotive market segment to represent Hüper Optik® Nano-Ceramic films as their product offerings.
