SuperNova Diagnostics, an international company that provides diagnostic solutions for use in human and non-human health applications, declared that is has inked an accord with Shenzhen Kang Sheng Bao Bio-Technology (KSB), which is a company offering biotechnology diagnostic solutions.
The collaboration will develop solutions for research, production and distribution of laboratory diagnostic kits and reagents in China and related market segments for R&D, production and retailing of diagnostic services and products for measuring Neopterin, its derivatives and metabolites using the SuperNova platform of AmpCrystal.
According to Neil Campbell, President and Chief Executive Officer of SuperNova Diagnostics, the agreement will allow the two organizations to expand research and development, production and retailing of a set of biomarkers to be used in acute and chronic inflammatory disorders.
Neopterin is an analyte used globally to detect, control and diagnose inflammatory reactions, both acute and chronic. It is used in more than 80 different diseases caused by inflammation including CNS, cardiovascular, respiratory, cancer and infectious disease.
