NanoBCA Recognizes HzO’s WaterBlock Nanotechnology

The NanoBusiness Commercialization Association (NanoBCA) has selected HzO, the developer of breakthrough WaterBlock technology, as one of the top innovators for the year 2012.

NanoBCA honored HzO, a start-up company based Utah, as a top Emerging Innovator for the development of WaterBlock, its proprietary nanotechnology that provides invisible protection to sensitive materials and electronics from humidity and liquids such as water.

Paul Clayson, President and Chief Executive Officer at HzO, stated that the company transforms the way of utilization of electronics. Besides providing protection to valuable electronics such as smart phones and tablets from the inside out, WaterBlock provides more options to use vital instruments on the water, in inclement weather, or even under the water. This recognition from NanoBCA honors the company’s innovative technology and the transformation it is bringing in.

NanoBCA encourages the funding of research and development in the nanotechnology field and recognizes the industry’s top players every year by preparing a list of the most innovative products. Bayer, Amgen, Samsung and Apple have also been nominated by NanoBCA to receive the honor. Nominees will receive the honor for their contributions at the annual Nano-manufacturing summit.

Besides participating in the summit, Clayson will also deliver a presentation on how HzO and its WaterBlock technology are facilitating the advancement of the industry. WaterBlock is a robust and invisible technology that gives protection at the molecular scale. HzO offers its WaterBlock technology to markets such as industrial, marine, first responder devices, solar energy, military and consumer electronics.
