Motion and precision positioning systems expert PI (Physik Instrumente) formally launched many new products and technology developments at Laser World of Photonics, held in Munich, Germany last month, to complement their existing comprehensive portfolio of precision motion control and positioning technologies, components, and systems.
As the premier international conference and trade show for photonics, lasers, and precision optics, PI captivated and educated trade show goers with interactive product displays of miniature positioners, air bearings, direct magnetic drive stages, and hexapods.
With show attendance at an all time high, technology was the focal point as demonstrated in PI’s new Q-Motion miniature piezo nanopositioners at only 21mm wide, frictionless air bearing linear and XY stages, high-speed automation actuators and linear motor stages, and palm-sized hexapods with 6 axis motion.
