Amtech Systems, Inc.,
a global supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies
for the manufacture of solar cells, semiconductors, and silicon wafers, today
announced that its solar subsidiary, Tempress Systems, Inc., has received an
order for its solar diffusion systems valued at approximately $3 million from
a new customer that is a European-based supplier of solar turnkey systems.
J.S. Whang, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amtech, commented, “This
