Phantoms Foundation Coordinates a 22-Booth Spain Pavilion at nano tech 2009

The World's Largest Nanotechnology Exhibition, nano tech 2009 International Nanotechnology Exhibition + Conference will be held from February 18 to 20, 2009 at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo (Japan). The eighth edition of the exhibition and conference is more international in scope than ever. 606 companies and organizations representing 21 countries and regions will exhibit at 905 booths; 280 of the booths will be operated by 213 overseas companies and organizations. 50,000 visitors from around the world are expected to attend the event

After a very successful 2008 edition, the Phantoms Foundation and the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), in cooperation with the Embassy of Spain (Commercial and Economical Office) in Tokyo, will promote the Spain Pavilion at nano tech 2009, as an initiative under the program “España, Technology for Life”.

This program, carried out by ICEX, focuses in the promotion in foreign markets of Spain’s more Innovative and leading industrial technologies and products.

The Spain Pavilion will promote the “Spanish Nanoscience and Technological Offer", allowing to represent the scientific, technological and innovative agents of the country as a whole, to foster relationships with other nano tech 2009 participants, to promote country culture of innovation, to better integrate the Spanish “Science-Technology-Company-Society” system in Europe and Far East, to generate and to develop scientific and technological knowledge, to improve competitiveness and to contribute to the economic and social development of Spain.

The Spanish participation will group 22 Companies and Research Centres providing an outlook of the most innovative projects and products in various fields of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology.
