products and services, announced today the acquisition of the publishing assets
of William Andrew, Inc. ("William Andrew").
Over the last 18 months, Elsevier and William Andrew have built a valuable
strategic alliance including print distribution of William Andrew books globally
outside of North America and electronic distribution of William Andrew content
on Elsevier's globally renowned electronic publishing platforms: Science Direct
and Engineering Village.
