Tessera Technologies Ships More Than One Million Single-Element VGA Lenses

Tessera Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:TSRA) today announced that it has shipped more than one million OptiML™ single-element VGA lenses via its Product Launch Services. The company introduced these services in September 2008 to provide licensees and their customers with early access to its wafer-level optics technology while licensees ramp up their high-volume manufacturing.

Licensees of Tessera’s OptiML wafer-level optics technology include Nemotek S.A., which is already production-ready, and Q Technology Limited (Q Tech).
