First Meeting for UWS Nanotechnology Network for 2007

You are cordially invited to attend the UWS Nanotechnology Network meeting between 5.00pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 3rd April 2007 in Lecture Theatre 5, Building 21, UWS Campbelltown Campus. Please note this is different venue. Nearest parking is available in Car Park 6.

This is the first Networking meeting of the year.

During an extended networking period Professor Bill Price will provide a guided visit to the new Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility. Gang Zheng Ph D Student in the UWS Nanoscale Organisation and Dynamics Research Group will give a presentation on some of his research regarding NMR.

Professor Beryl Hesketh, the new Executive Dean of the UWS College of Health & Science will be introduced to the network.

Tina Rankovic, CEO Australian Nano Business Forum (ANBF) will discuss plans for the future of nanotechnology in Australia.

Adjunct Professor Ron Beckett will report on the Nanottra toolmaking road mapping project. Lu Papi and Jim Walsh will present an update on their progress with Nanoflex.

A more detailed agenda will be provided closer to the date.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
