CEDRAT PPA10M Parallel Pre-stressed Actuator

The parallel pre-stressed actuator is a preloaded stack of low voltage piezoelectric ceramics (MLA). The preload (or pres-stress) is obtained from an external spring frame made of stainless steel which protects the MLA against tensile force and provide mechanical interfaces for the user allowing for easier integration. This prestressing frame applies an optimal preloading force to the MLA which ensures a longer lifetime and better performance with dynamic applications than traditional preloaded actuators. The PPA10M is the smallest size version of the Parallel Pre-stressed Actuator M series.

Piezosystem Series P/S13 Hermetically Insulated Stack Type Actuators

The piezo actuators of the series P/S13 have a hermetically sealed housing. The special housing allows for use in aggressive and humid environments. The construction of the housing tightly encloses the stack, thereby avoiding mechanical play. The actuators are not pre-loaded. They can handle a load up to 1000 N.

Low-Profile High-Speed Stage with Ultrasonic Piezo Linear Drives & Direct Position Measurement

The M-664 micropositioning systems from Physik-Instrumente are low-profile, high-accuracy translation stages with linear encoders. The M-664 stage is next-larger in the series of piezomotor-driven stages of which the M-663 is the smallest. For improved guiding accuracy, the M-664 uses two crossed roller bearings mounted on ground aluminum profiles. The integrated P-664 PILine® linear motor can generate forces up to 4 N and maximum closed-loop velocities to 400 mm/s over a 25 mm travel range.
