BluePlanet Environmental (FWK, Stock Symbol-9BP) is pleased to announce it has licensed to Bestway Inflatables Inc, a global leader in above ground pool manufacturing, BluePlanet’s proprietary ozone technology.
It is estimated that over the next four years 900,000 to 1,200,000 pools will have BluePlanet’s water ozonation technology as a key selling feature representing revenue of between $9 million to $12 million for the company. This is the introduction of these environmentally sustainable pools into Bestway’s global sales system. The ozonation system will be sold under the name ‘Hydro Force Clear Water System’.
BluePlanet’s technology will allow pool owners to reduce their annual chemical use by up to 70%; and reduce the incidence of skin irritations associated with the use of chlorine and other chemicals. In addition, bacterial counts have been reduced to 1 CFU/g vs the industry standard of 1000 CFU/g.
BluePlanet utilizes Micro-Nano Bubble technology to infuse consistent amounts of ozone gas into water bodies to maximize its effectiveness. BluePlanet has also used this technology to infuse Micro-Nano bubbles with oxygen for agriculture, aquaculture and hydroponic applications, as well as carbon dioxide for growing algae for the creation of bio fuels.
