Company Developing its Communications and Nanotechnology Capabilities

Ambit Corporation announced today that it received a Notice of Allowance from the US Patent Office for its US patent application No. 20050200536, entitled "Personal Communication Device Connectivity Arrangement".

"This new patent will enable further development of AMBIT Corp's products, including WiFi delivery systems used aboard aircraft" said AMBIT's VP Don Halgren. "Our technology in antennas and systems for convenient, controlled relay of high-speed internet and telephony has additional applications in buildings, vehicles, and in densely populated spectrum-shared settings." he remarked.

AMBIT Corp is a developer of cellular telephone, antenna system, and carbon nanotube technologies, and conducts research and product development activities at its Ashland, Massachusetts laboratory.
