Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology Launches Latest Customer Support Package

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology (OIPT), part of Oxford Instruments plc, is pleased to announce the recent launch of its latest customer support package, the 'Pre-Purchased Service Fund' scheme.

Since its launch this innovative fund has grown extremely popular. Acting as a pay-as-you-go alternative to the Support Agreements that OIPT offer on an annual basis, this essential scheme can be used to purchase any type of support and service (including spares and consumables, remedial and maintenance service engineer visits, process training and sample production), permitting great value and flexibility in the use of maintenance budgets - and with no expiration date, the 'Pre-Purchased Service Fund' has proved to be a maintenance must!

This scheme complements the already established maintenance training courses for all PlasmalabR tools through which Oxford Instruments supports its global customer base. These courses combine the use of both classroom and hands-on instruction by Oxford Instruments trained laboratory engineers, helping to optimise the performance of any PlasmalabR Product. Maintenance Training courses are held periodically at the OIPT facility situated in Yatton, United Kingdom, but can alternatively be provided at customer sites.

Oxford Instruments is committed to supporting its customers around the world. Their Plasma, ALD, MBE and Ion Beam customers do not just buy a product, they buy a business solution - and Oxford Instruments provides customers with service solutions that enable them to maintain and grow their businesses.

OIPT is a leading provider of flexible process tools and leading-edge processes for the engineering of nano-scale structures and devices, based on core technologies in plasma-enhanced deposition and etch, ion-beam deposition and etch, atomic layer deposition (ALD) and molecular beam epitaxy (MBE).
