NineSigma Seeks Proposals For Manufacture of Nano-scale Thermoelectric Materials - New Item

NineSigma, representing Delphi Corporation, a multi-national world leader in mobile electronics, transportation components, and systems technology, is seeking proposals (technical and cost) for new techniques for bulk manufacture of nano-scale (20-30 nm) particle size thermoelectric materials. Thermo-electric materials of interest include certain metal alloys such as lead telluride (PbTe).

Anticipated project scope:

  • Phase 1: Development of technique for specific thermoelectric materials of interest. Deliverable will be a sample of material to Delphi for testing.
  • Phase 2: Manufacturing development for high-volume automotive applications.

Proposal abstracts are due March 26, 2004.
