Nano-Tex Nanotechnology Enhanced Fabric Put ToThe Coffee Test By Duke Students

Duke University students have put Nano-Tex nanotechnology enhanced fabrics to the test by attempting to stain samples of the cloth with coffee. The simple test was remarkable as they have posted a video documentation of their test on YouTube.

Coffee vs. Nano-Tex Fabric

The video shows the students first attempting to stain the fabric by pouring coffee on the stain from a pipette. This is completely unsuccessful so the students completely immerse the fabric sample in the coffee. It comes out damp but the coffee ismerely on the surface of the sample and is easily wiped off. A control sample of normal material, is immediately wet and stained upon contact with the coffee.
