Industrial Nanotech's Lead Encapsulation Technology Chosen for Commercial Office Project

Industrial Nanotech, Inc., an emerging global leader in nanotechnology, announced today that its Nansulate® LDX lead encapsulation coating has been chosen for a commercial office project by Southern Environmental Services of Marietta, Georgia. The application is for a 30,000 sf building which had previously been contaminated with lead paint.

Southern Environmental will apply Nansulate® LDX to the interior of the three-story building to provide encapsulation of lead contaminates. The building, located in Atlanta, GA, is being renovated for use as commercial office space.

The value of the lead abatement market is estimated to be $400 billion dollars. Encapsulation is a form of lead abatement and is defined as the application of any covering or coating that acts as a barrier between the lead-based paint and the environment.

"Nationally and internationally, companies are searching for answers to the daunting problems of lead and mold abatement. For these companies and others, Nansulate offers a cost-effective, environmentally-friendly solution," said Francesca Crolley, V.P. of Operations & Marketing for Industrial Nanotech. "We are pleased to have passed the rigorous product review process of a well-respected company such as Southern Environmental Services. This contract marks an important step for Industrial Nanotech into the expanding market of environmental remediation."
