Product Overview
The RaptIR X FTIR Microscope enables rapid identification, mapping, and interpretation of the chemistry of complex samples with research-grade performance.
Combining true 5 µm spatial resolution, intuitive workflows, and high-performance chemical mapping, it delivers assured materials identification for quality assurance, failure analysis, and research. Its adaptable and expandable system adjusts to evolving analytical requirements, safeguarding the investment as features develop.
This model combines high-grade FTIR microscopy with user-friendly workflows on a versatile, expandable platform to help laboratories swiftly identify, map, and understand the chemistry of complex materials.
Whether used for standard quality control, failure examination, contaminant detection, or advanced materials investigation, the RaptIR X microscope offers quick, reliable materials identification while allowing adjustments as analytical demands change.
Research-Grade Performance for Confident Results
Expose vital chemical detail. High-resolution optical microscopy and FTIR mapping function collaboratively to help detect particles, films, impurities, flaws, fibers, and inconsistencies in materials. These capabilities provide research-grade performance, and the genuine 5 µm infrared spatial resolution enhances the ability to confidently characterize microscopic features.
Speed up analytical workflows. Rapid data collection, user-friendly applications, and automated processes help minimize the time from sample input to chemical understanding, benefiting both standard labs and sophisticated research settings.
Designed for every experience level. Thermo Scientific™ OMNIC™ Paradigm Software integrates guided processes, automation features, particle examination, chemical visualization, and reporting functionalities to make FTIR microscopy easier for beginners, while also offering the versatility needed for more sophisticated analysis techniques.
Flexible Configurations That Grow With the Laboratory
Begin with the capabilities needed today. Configure the system as a standalone FTIR microscope or integrate it with the Thermo Scientific Nicolet Apex FTIR Spectrometer or Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS50 FTIR Spectrometer to support extra analytical techniques as laboratory requirements change.
Enhance analytical skills gradually. Optional components and modules, such as Micro-ATR, NIR microscopy, polarization analysis, grazing-angle optics, compression cells, and additional detector options, enable the platform to support new procedures without the need to replace the existing system.
Adapt to varied sample types. Various sampling methods, detector options, different objectives, and the ability to accommodate large or oddly shaped samples provide the versatility needed to examine a wide variety of substances in both research and industrial labs.
