Background

Thomas Swan has a carbon nanomaterials business for the production of high-purity single and multi-wall carbon nanotubes. Using a fully scalable CVD process, developed in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, the company can manufacture commercial quantities of purified single and multi-wall carbon nanotubes which are sold under the Elicarb® trade mark and used in a wide range of industrial and academic applications.

Carbon Nanotube Types

The two types of Thomas Swan carbon nanotubes are single wall and multiwall carbon nanotubes supplied under the Elicarb brand.

Elicarb SW

High-purity single-wall carbon nanotubes delivered as a dry powder, aqueous or alcohol wet cake.

Elicarb MW

High-purity multi-wall carbon nanotubes delivered as a dry powder, aqueous or alcohol wet cake.
