Thomas Swan & Co. Ltd. is one of the UK's leading independent performance chemical manufacturers. Founded in 1926, the company has over 78 years of experience in commercial chemical manufacturing.
In April 2004, following over 4 years of collaboration with the University of Cambridge, Thomas Swan launched a Carbon Nanomaterials business which is dedicated to manufacturing commercial quantities of high purity single and multi-wall carbon nanotubes under the Elicarb™ trademark.
The company is currently capable of manufacturing over 2kg of purified single-wall carbon nanotubes per month and is primarily interested in selling them as a raw material to a wide range of industrial and academic organisations.
