Biodegradable Plastic Produced Using Nanotechnology

The Asiaport Daily News has reported that Chinese Researchers have used nanotechnology to turn carbon dioxide waste into biodegradable plastics.

The team from the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Guangzhou Institute has secured three patents on the production ready technology. They state that the plastics produced by the technology are cheaper than current plastics and are not harmful to the environment.
