Please give an overview of your company.
I'm John Gerin, and 20 years ago I set up my own company. I sell operators, many of which with testing capabilities. Some conductivity, DMA, TMA, DSE, TJ; I can do all of those tests.
That's 90% of my business, while in the other part I sell special polymers to people who need them for calibration or research.
Can you tell us about something that you here today to promote?
We have a hot plate and a cold plate, and we can we measure the heat flow through the material in between.
For specific heat you have the top and bottom base at the same temperature to measure the specific heat of the materials.
With thermal connectivity, looking at an example, you may have a metal floor which is much colder than a mass carpet. Because the conservation property of the carpet is much better than metal.
What are the applications of your products?
My products can be used in industry or in research. Most of the people here, in fact, are potential customers, which is why I enjoy coming here for a day.
