Photek Licenses Arradiance Technology for Nanofilm MCP-Based Photodetectors

Photek, Ltd. of St Leonards on Sea, UK today announced that it is licensing the intellectual property of Arradiance, Inc. of Sudbury, MA for use in nanofilm microchannel plate (MCP) based imagers and detectors.

Kettering Professor Presents at Energy Materials Nanotechnology Meeting on Quantum Technology in China

Dr. Lisandro Hernandez de la Peña, assistant professor of Chemistry at Kettering University, was invited to speak at the Energy Materials Nanotechnology (EMN) Meeting on Quantum Technology in April. The conference, hosted by the Chinese Academy of Science Institute of Semiconductors, was held in Beijing, China.

DOE Awards Research Funding to Lehigh Scientist to Create Functional Materials by Harnessing DNA

Jeetain Mittal, assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University, is one of 44 scientists selected from across the nation to receive significant funding for research as part of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Early Career Research Program. The effort, now in its sixth year, is designed to bolster the nation's scientific workforce by providing support to exceptional researchers during the crucial early career years, when many scientists do their most formative work.

U.S DOE Awards Dais Analytic$1.2 Million Additional Funding to Commercialize NanoAir Membrane HVAC Technology

Dais Analytic Corporation, a commercial nanotechnology materials business selling its industry-changing technology into the worldwide energy and water markets, today announced it has been selected to receive additional funding of $1.2 million from the U.S Department of Energy (DOE) to further commercialize its Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) membrane technology for its NanoAir™ product.
