Applied Materials to Participate in J.P. Morgan Conference

Applied Materials, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMAT) announced today that the company will participate in the 37th Annual J.P. Morgan Global Technology, Media and Telecom Conference on May 18, 2009 beginning at 12:00 p.m. PT (3:00 p.m. ET) in Boston, MA. Applied's participation will feature Mike Splinter, chairman and chief executive officer.
