Nano Crystal Technology-Based Ladybug Steam Cleaner Qualified for EPA

1-800-GO-VAPOR.com, a leading marketer of high-quality vapor steam cleaning systems nationwide, today explained that the Ladybug Tekno 2350 steam cleaner with TANCS® (Thermo Accelerated Nano Crystal Sanitation) technology is scientifically proven to produce better results than traditional disinfectants, qualifying the Tekno as a disinfection device for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA Est. No. 82121-WA-01).

“We opened for business in 1998 with the goal to change the way people clean,” says V.K. Dunlop, vice president, 1-800-GO-VAPOR.com. “And that is what we have been doing for 13 years. We’ve tested nearly every steam cleaner on the market. The Tekno is as dynamic as it is durable. It’s a purpose-built cleaning system engineered to exceed the competition’s durability, reliability and performance.”

TANCS®-equipped Tekno 2350 steam cleaner

Using only ordinary tap water, the TANCS®-equipped Tekno 2350 steam cleaner achieves a greater kill rate in 3 seconds than a 20-minute exposure to bleach.

According to Chuanwu Xi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Health at the University of Michigan, "Scientific studies have found that biofilms can be up to 1000 times more resistant to biocide inactivation than are suspended microbes. It is extremely difficult to get rid of biofilms and kill them. The efficacy of the steam vapor system is important because even strong chemical disinfectants such as bleach when allowed 20 minutes of dwell time did not achieve the same degree of kill that the TANCS®-equipped unit accomplished in three seconds.”

The lab tested and proprietary patented TANCS® technology also eliminates MRSA and VRE superbugs in 5 seconds.

“The TANCS® System has shown extraordinary results in laboratory tests,” said Benjamin Tanner, president of Antimicrobial Test Laboratories. “A 99.9999% reduction of MRSA and VRE on surfaces within 5 seconds is a level of performance that chemical disinfectants may never achieve.”
