NetLogic Microsystems to Display 40nm-Based PHY, SerDes Family of Products

NetLogic Microsystems, a company that produces high-performance semiconductor solutions for Internet networks, today declared that it will be displaying the industry’s truly comprehensive portfolio that spans across 40nm-based, quad-channel 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) PHY/SerDes family of products.

NetLogic Microsystems’ family of 10/40/100 GbE PHY/SerDes products consists of pin-compatible packages. In addition, NetLogic Microsystems’ family of 10/40/100 GbE PHY/SerDes products enables serial data transmission over several backplanes at 10GbE and 40GbE. NetLogic Microsystems’ family of 10/40/100 GbE PHY/SerDes products allows developers to target various levels of integration and ensure successful migration of data centers from 10GbE to 40GbE and 100GbE throughputs. In order to meet the requirements for data center applications, the product portfolio offers a wide variety of interfaces.

NetLogic Microsystems' 10/40/100 GbE PHY/SerDes family of devices is optimized for reducing power consumption of approximately 1/2 Watt per channel and the increasing adoption of copper links that are attached directly. The integrated on-chip power distribution network on each of these devices will lead to simplification of the board design.
