Aehr Test Systems declared that it has received further orders worth two million $ for FOX-1 WaferPak contactors and their support devices from a manufacturer of flash memory devices.
Carl Buck, the VP of Marketing at Aehr Test Systems said that the receipt of the order shows the customer satisfaction and advantages obtained by using their full wafer contact solutions. He added that the FOX-1 system facilitates simultaneous testing of thousands of die with just one touch-down on a 300 mm wafer. He claimed that the additional order for FOX-1 and support services indicates that full-wafer test technology is a cost-efficient solution for the customer.
The FOX-1 is a full wafer parallel test system belonging to the FOX family. The FOX family comprises of full wafer contact systems, which are mostly used in short burn-in and test applications. The other products in this family are used for full wafer burn-in and in testing for longer time durations and has applications in automotive IC’s, VSCELs and DRAMs.
Aehr Test Systems have their headquarters at Fremont, California. They supply systems that support burn–in, memory testing and logic integrated circuits globally.
