Nyacol Inc. was founded in 1969 in Ashland, MA. After being acquired by the PQ Corporation in 1981, we became privately held in October of 1999 and were renamed Nyacol Nano Technologies, Inc. at that time.
We've developed a variety of proprietary nano particle technologies for manufacturing specialized inorganic colloids. Our founders created a unique process for manufacturing colloidal silica, or silica sol. These nano particle techniques have been expanded to metal oxides such as antimony pentoxide, alumina, ceria, tin oxide, yttria and zirconia.
The special properties and adaptability of our colloidal silica, and metal oxides -- including antimony pentoxide -- have earned a worldwide reputation for reliability, quality and adaptability.
