BRAVE Analytics is a spin-off of the Medical University of Graz and upcoming supplier of sensors for the online and offline monitoring of (nano)particles in liquids.
It all started with a BRAVE idea – to combine biophotonic and microfluidic forces to break the barrier of Brownian motion and allow (nano)particle characterization in real-time with a number-based, single-particle measurement. This idea became BRAVE Analytics’ patented OF2i technology.
Now there is a BRAVE team putting the finishing touches to two sensors implementing OF2i for both industrial applications and research. The B1 online sensor will provide continuous (nano)particle size measurement and monitoring, even at very low (nano)particle concentrations. This allows predictive maintenance and real-time quality control of production. The B2 benchtop device delivers high-speed, time-resolved single-particle analysis in a particle size range from 10 nanometers to 50 micrometers.
