£90 million For UK Nanotechnology Strategy - News Item

The UK government has released plans to create a National Technology Strategy (NTS), aimed at boosting innovative technologies and particularly those for export.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) report, "Competing in the Global Economy: the Innovation Challenge," includes a pledge to spend £150 million (US$263.2 million) on the NTS, including £90 million for nanotechnology research.
