Can you tell us about Siconnex and why you're at SEMICON West this year?
We are an equipment manufacturer for etching cleaning and resistor equipment. We are actually from Austria, in Europe. We have been coming to SEMICON West since 2013. We are still establishing our US portfolio, or our US presence and therefore it's important to be here.
Can you tell us about the products you've got on show this year?
Since we are an equipment manufacturer we build huge equipment and we have a 3D printed model of our equipment because it makes it possible to show our equipment here.
Can you tell us about the benefits of the equipment?
We provide efficiency and safer working environments. We are a stable process and therefore we can help our customers to save money, but on the other hand we also help the environment.
What type of industry and applications would really benefit from this product? Who are your customers?
We are mainly in the semiconductor industry but we also supply wafer manufacturers, LED manufacturers, institutes, even universities. So everybody who's actually working in the semiconductor or related industries can benefit from our equipment.
What sets you apart from anyone else on the market?
I think our biggest benefit is that we focus on this type of equipment only. Most of our competitors have different products that they offer and so they can not put all of their R&D and development into one thing. This is what we do. We only have this one product and we put full focus and energy into it. This means good quality for a very attractive price.
